Tree and my life

It was born with me,

We grew together.

When we were young,

we cared of nothing.

We moved and waved,

and enjoyed the breeze.

Youth came and so did thoughts,

we deciphered things,

and discussed a lot together.

We studied together,

It kept all my secrets,

even my crushes and romances.

We matured together,

became rough and rigid.

We hardly noticed the wind anymore,

wonder if it ever existed.

We are now strong and unshakeable,

but for what good? we both don't understand.

Now we are old and we miss the wind,

we can not enjoy it, we just can't.

We don't think a lot now,

we just sit together and relax.

We love to recall the memories,

we are still talking about the life.

We are both dying now,

neither of us wants to die.

We have invested so much time in this life,

we don't wish to start over again.

The time has come now,

we have to say our last goodbyes.

It is hurting, not to die,

but to see you die my friend.

I wish there are trees in heaven,

and I wish there are rains.

Because you my friend,

are the 'life' that I had.

A Dying Tree

dying tree

I do not know when the seed was sown,
Though I did see the tender green;
It grew silently; to me unknown,
And soon It was a plant.

trees in shades of gray

I do not know who nurtured it,
Perhaps a glance would have!
It grew to a tree, so brightly lit
Basking in the bright red land.

But the blood of heart could nurture no more,
As The light of your love never glittered on it.
In vain go my love's efforts to grow,
Unseen die the flowers it bore.

lonely tree

Still hoping your love to shine on me,
My blood still trying to save the tree.
Waiting for your light in darkness of hopes,
Hoping for a life, a dying tree chokes.
